As promised, the part two of my Southern China trip is finally here. But, before that I want to pour something out and it might be a bit lengthy and you might cringe while reading it. Hahhahahah, oh boy, where do I even begin? So, the other day some guy called me "acting like a psycho gf". Ouch! that hurts ;( haha! Why did I do that make him say that? I texted him, he had slow respond then his excuse was the wifi was bad. I was like totally okay but said the wifi is alright and he still insisted that is bad and yada yada yada. Then I told him that his whatsapp status is visible and ofc you can check who's seen your igstories just by clicking that one button. So, how the hell he loaded ig without good connection? I can't load ig pics with bad 3G, let alone igstories, duh. The guy stood his ground so strong, oh my.
Well, I know this guy from the internet and I never believe anybody I met from any social media ( yes we did meet irl once). Moreover, this guy lives faraway from me. So, I had to do a little bit (maybe too much) of investigating that I found things that's actually different from what he told me. And he knew this, he knew I checked out his fb, it was okay then, but now he freaked out that he unfriend me (but I blocked him first! ha!) He also blocked me on ig, man, I don't even follow him and his profile is locked. Why so panic? Was it because he might have found out that I know there's a recent photo of him and his gf-he-doesn't-admit-to-me? Oh yes, he has a gf, but he insisted that he is single. Well, good job at twisting it and made me the bad guy (or in this case, the psycho one) I never bombarded him with texts or else, I probably only reached out to him 3-4 times since we'd first talked 6 months ago. He's right, I'm crazy, dishonesty and lie agitate my 'crazy' button.
Something's off with this guy from the very first, I don't have to list it here, it's already a long writing than I initially planned. Anyways, the reason why I gave him chances was solely because of the fact that his brother is a convert Muslim. That's it. But, months ago, I woke up and realized that he is not his brother, should've listened to my guts.
Told me to grow up, yeah maybe I need to. I know I probably overreacted, but don't I deserve to know the truth? I'd never involve with anybody who's not single. Told him I have little to zero tolerance for dishonesty and to me there's no such thing as white lies. It's cool, what goes around comes back around and I sincerely hope and pray that it will hit him back way worse ;)
Damn! That is long! Haha. Alright, now let's move on..
Great, I don't even remember what to write....ahahhahah...shite!
Alright, alright, alright..so after Liuzhou, we went to Yangshuo to take a cruise along the Li River in the morning. We spent a night in Yangshuo and just strolled down the night market, not bad but it was still hot and humid even at night.
Li River or Lijiang flows 83km from Guilin to Yangshuo. The scenery is awesome, although it's very hot and sunny that day, I once again baked myself under the sun wearing my classic leather pants which is still my favorite piece regardless the weather.

After Li River, we went straight to Guilin and continued our visitation to Nine Turning Bridge and saw Big Banyan Tree, a tree that is already there over 1,000 years. Cray... I really like the place, it was a little unfortunate that we went here in the afternoon where the sun was almost gone. You know, I rely on the sun so much when taking pictures.
wink wink ;) |
At night, yes night. I can't take a good picture with iPhone at night time ahhahahha. But I still love you Apple :* We visited Elephant Trunk Hill, the symbol of Guilin then we took a night cruise. The weather was already chilling that time.

Now, day 7 of my trip! I stayed in Guilin until our trip was over. Umm, we went to Rong Shan Lake and Old South Gate today in the morning, then to Noodles Culture Center for Lunch after that to Fubo Hill. Sorry, I have to summarize this because it's getting blurry.
Rong Lake and Shan Lake Scenic Area is located in the center of Guilin city, it is also a scenic spot for Guilin city tour. Actually it is consisted of two lakes: the east of Yang Bridge is Shan Lake, and the west of the bridge is Rong Lake. Because the banyan and cedar grow here, so it’s called Rong Shan Lake (banyan and cedar lake). Hence it is a destination for travellers who are going on Guilin city tour. Located in the South of Guilin Central Square, Center of Guilin, Guangxi, China. More details click here

I didn't take any decent picture at the Noodles Cultural Center, but I guarantee that it's delicious, I ate horse meat soup there. It tasted really good, yummy!
In the afternoon, we went to Zhengyang Walking Street. Yes, another shopping street. My Mama was really happy, she likes to stroll around walking street and window shopping and yeah, we did shop there. It's cheap!

Finally, my last 2nd day, but yeah it's my last day as the day after we went to the airport first thing in the morning. So, we went to Yao Mountain then Dongxi Old Town in the afternoon and Zhengyang Walking Street again. The weather is really nice, chilly and breezy for the last 3 days in Southern China, it finally felt more like Autumn.
Yao Mountain is located in the eastern suburbs of Guilin, about 10 km (6.2 miles) from the city center. Famed for spectacular views, diverse wildlife and ancient tombs. Its main peak reaches 909 meters (accessed by the mountain road plus a path off to the north), but the lower south peak is the one that has been developed for tourism. More info click here
Yeap, we took the cable car to the top. Because who has time to climb to the top if you are with the travel agency.
That's it, pretty cool place, nice scenery, there was a shrine or temple up there. It was a bit awkward when I took picture between the two Goddesses (or Gods) here because everyone else is praying to them. Sorry about that.
Then finally, finally, moving on to my last destination that were Dongxi Ancient Town and Zhengyang Walking Street. So, these two are very close, basically Dongxi Ancient Town that is not so ancient, already been refurbished couple times at least, is across the Zhengyang Walking Street.
Oh I love I love this Vegan Leather Overalls from Second Skin Overalls. Like seriously, my most expensive pair so far, but totally worth it as I never see any other leather jumpsuit that is skinny fit like this one. If I could, I'd never take it off, truly becomes my second skin ;) Oh and it's already sold out now, and won't be restocked again I heard, now that's what I like from a not-fast-fashion brand hehehe.
Lastly, if you read until down here, I want to just congratulate you to bear with me. Thank you for your time for reading my nonsenses, haha. Appreaciate it. Lots of love, everything that happens in your life is a blessing in disguise, so count your blessings, be grateful for what you have now :)
